ANQ Skating Event Concluded

We would like to thank all the families for their active participation in January 7 Skating event. Without your support and help, it wouldn’t have been successful.

All the invitees were at the Venue by 12:00pm. Anyhow, our event began by 12:30 pm as it took us a bit time to figure out the group. Many of our parents were helping our children to put on their skates and helmets. We had 26 participants Children and 8 Volunteers including one of our Parent Mrs. Anupama Regmi.

Many of our children were beginners and some of them were bit scared at beginning but our Volunteers did a fantastic job to feel them comfortable inside the rink. Gradually, we noticed that our children were able to skate alone and we could see & feel their proud face. As it was our first effort and we tried our best to bring the happiness in our children’s face. And we believe that these kinds of event creates an environment where our children get chance to mingle with their Nepalese friends.

We would like to thank our Volunteers Mrs. Gita Baral, Mr. Mukti Ghimire who helped us a lot staying outside the rink and Miss Prativa Baral, Miss Munu Kanel, Mr. Santosh Kanel,Mr. Shayam Tamang, Mr. Patrick Baral & Mr. Babin Maharjan who were continuously inside the rink for 3 hours for helping our younger children. And last but not the least we would like to thank & congratulate our Women and Children Sub-committee team member Mrs. Mala Budha, Mrs. Deepa Paudel & Miss Prativa Baral for successfully organizing an excellent event.
