Objectives |
- Protect the rights of Nepalese residing in Canada and to encourage them to participate in Canadian Social activities.
- Protect and preserve Nepali art, language and culture.
- Educate its fellow members to respect the multilingual, multicultural and multiracial Canadian society.
- Help fellow members to solve their family-related problems.
- Organize programs to help handicap and disable fellow members.
- Follow indiscriminatory policy (based on gender, race, religion, political and regional).
- Build a cordial relationships with federal and provincial government as well as with local non-government and international organizations, whose objectives are similar to those of ANQ.
- Encourage and assist it members to establish small and medium size businesses.
- Launch suitable programs to encourage Nepalese youths residing in Quebec and other provinces of Canada to participate in the socio-development activities.
- Provide volunteers for social services as needed.
- Organize workshops, meetings, picnics and Nepalese festival celebrations to maintain and improve harmonic relations among the fellow members.
- Assist newcomers from Nepal to settle in Canada.
- Help victims of natural and other disasters.
